POST FANATICON
The convention in Asheville was a huge success, I believe both for the city itself as well as the comic. Being the first time that this has ever been held, the coordinators of FANATICON were hoping for at least 500 people to show up. Amazingly, over 3000 people attended the event!
A special thanks to Jorge McKay of "Proof God Hates Me," for helping out with our table. He did an excellent job wrangling in convention goers and running off a well practiced spiel to everyone about what Divine Wrath was. I know for a fact I would not have been able to do what he did. Check out his webcomic and support a friend for his awesome contributions to our webcomic.
I have to say that the event went through pretty flawlessly. Other then the long drives and traffic the whold day went without a hitch. Starting off with the pre event party held at Scandals night club (which had a bit more colorful crowd then expected) we retired fairly late. Probably around 2 or 3 in the morning.
